Poem

Dear traveling poet
I wrote you a sonnet
Before you left at sunset
That I tucked in your sachet

A sonnet to the poet
Who enamored me with his rhyming of words
Depictions of beauty
That caused me to fall in love with a never seen world

We’ve grown together, we’ve grown apart
Such is the longing in my heart
This poem I now write
Depicts a parting of souls going from left to right

You are a nomad with no land
Your map and compass in hand
Leaving homeless this land
Leaving mere foot prints in the sand

So worldly yet so lonely
You start over in every city
Leaving behind a story, and legacy
All for the love of the geography and the history

You asked me to come along, many a time
I refused for I loved the world that was all mine
A world I did not want to share with others
Due to fears of myself and others

I don’t know when you will return
But I’ve begun to write many a poem
For it is now my turn
That I seek the new home

A sonneteer I wanted to be
But a traveling poet I now want to be
I cannot write just of broken hearts
No longer a beseeching poet I wish to be

I’ll be the nomad with no land
With a map and compass in hand
I’ll go off in the distance
Where memories are left to the reminiscent

I’m making the world my new home
And I’ll dedicate it many a poem
Adjectives, nouns and verbs
And spoken words to be heard

I’ll be worldly and maybe lonely
I’ll start over in every city
All for the love of discovery
Making friends whom will now be my family

Maybe again you and I will meet
Or maybe from the far off lands
We’ll find a new traveling poet
Who will travel with us, whilst holding hands.

You move like water
Fluid are your moves
You make me flutter
With your graceful grooves

Slow running water
Gentle like a stream
Yet you race my heart harder
That I cover you with steam

Just you and me, water for nobody
Crystalline element who is in control
Your hand on mine you glide it across your body
I thirst for your drink, I want to give you my all

Like the mist, I want it to caress
Your beautiful nakedness
No roughness
Just gentleness

You press your breast
Against my face
You feel like a hot spring where we rest
That soothes the stresses away

If there was more time
If this was truly real
Together we’d make fire
But this is only a waking deal

You flip your hair like the ocean waves
When it crashes against the rocks
Strands of hair on your face
Like the water that drips from the rocks

You move like water
Fluid are your moves
You race my heart faster
With your graceful grooves

You create for me a fantasy
Resembling much like a reality
Two human beings
Who have forgotten about civility

You are water that runs all over me
Water that I cannot touch
You are in control allowing me to feel
I am earth, I can only sit as such

We are almost skin to skin
Please give this earth a drink
The fluid to caress my skin
Let that water into this earth sink

Like the ocean you are a mystery
And like the earth I bury mine deeply
You wash away the dirt and reveal my secrets
That I the earth has kept for an eternity

But this was only a moment
No kisses, no intimacy
The illusion has come to an end
And we are back to civility

But for an instant
You moved like the water
Creating my fantasy
That I would like to be my reality.

A beautiful temptress
Who has us in a trance
Greets us at the entrance

“Welcome child
Welcome man and woman
To the carnival of wild

Enter The World of fantasy
The turf of the soothsayers
And grimoire”

Enchanting music everywhere
A violin here, a mandolin there
A tambourine and flute to spare

Come across a pair of dancers
These buskers who are The Lovers indeed
Such tenderness expressed by these prancers

Many wearing masks
Clowns and pirates and venetian masks
And Judgment in their actions they lack

The Fool drinking his elixir of immortality
Mischievously grins
At Death who sits and waits patiently

“Come in, come in further”
Charms the soothsayer
“For I am no pocket slayer”

“What is it that you seek
Oh Sweet spectator?
I can hear your thoughts, no need to be meek”

“It is The Star” says I
“That will illuminate my path
And cease The Hermit lie

What is the answer to my prayer?
Temperance I no longer have”
“Cease to be the spectator” says the soothsayer

Continue to explore this carnival and more
Visit the High Priestess who chants her lore
Such power she will make you roar!

Children play The Tower game
Use many cards but don’t let them fall
This brought The Magician much fame

And Justice never sleeps
On everyone a weary eye she keeps
As malice never leaps

The Devil and the Hierophant
Are not preaching on this day
Too busy dancing the same and who says they can’t?

The carnival ignites with fervor
The Moon rises on the horizon
Use your Strength wisely and do not wither

The parade of floats begins
With damsels in gorgeous garments
Like the ones seen in midnight dreams

The Chariot with encrusted jewels
Carries the Emperor and Empress
Carnival royalty rules

But with beauty doesn’t always come the warming
On the next float is The Hanged Man
Who serves as a warning

Life is nothing but a Wheel of Fortune
It can dance to your own tune
And it can end your luck too soon

As The Sun fast approaches
Bid adieu to this eventide
And leave with no reproaches

Study the insight
Nurture the wisdom
The seers have spoken and leave us tonight

Drink one, drink two
Drink every drop
From this coffee bean
Grown for you

Innocent bean
Bitter your nectars
Born in luscious hectares
But you’ve turned so mean

A cup of tears
Mixed with morning fears
A drink to another day
Unchanged for so many years

Coffee republic
Dictated by greed
Coercion your creed
Where peasants can’t lead

Export the best
Keep the worst for the rest
Add a little sugar
And we will digress

Drink up my friends
Let’s drink it up
For we have no more land
Cultivated by a loving hand

The honest man
Has become a coffee man
And the fertile soil
Has become a place of turmoil

Grown from the highlands
That once fed the many
They’ve become but islands
That will never quench the thirst of many

The foreigners’ obsession,
Their medicine and addiction
But where’s our salvation?
For this corrupted nation?

Coffee republic
Pious republic
Wealthy republic
Don’t leave us out in public

Don’t leave us alone
Out in the cold
With nothing
But a pot of coffee to scald

So let’s drink up
And share from this cup of bountifulness
Filled with nothing of dread
But truthfulness

Drink one, drink two
Drink the coffee of liberty
With four spoons of justice
And one milk for equality

Awaking to this new dream.
Surfacing by day,
touching me,
I am awe-struck.
My creation,
my desired reality,
my truth?
Guided power of thought with ease.

Is this what it should feel like?

No matter.

I don’t want this to end.

so, Laugh with me little one.
We are on our way and
Triumphant I stand tall
Sharing my joy with you.

You are becoming louder,
I feel you becoming stronger,
And I feel you becoming older.
Yellow power shining through.

Come lets look upon our creation.
Together in continuum.

Let me be that white woman.
Witch wanting
Part of everything and
Expecting nothing.

Let me be that wayshower
In all your forms and formlessness.
Ready with open heart and eyes.
Ready to delight in more beauty.

With all this I continue to invite….

reorganization.

With all this I ask.

I wait for now.

gratitude
Love
Bliss

I send to you.

Standing at the edge of this ocean,
Surrendering to the zephyr stealing my breath,
Tides washing in and out,
I memorialize.

Sand moving in anticipation under my heels
Asks gently for tranquility.
Offering a message of constant evolution.

My water sign yearns to become again

… connected.

Cleansing tides wash away habitual patterns,
Life cycles to be acknowledged and
Detoxification of emotional debris.

Bhudi ,
stimulate my liquid systems.
Let your mudra settle this storm.
Give me the power of the waters to evolve in these times.

I want nothing more in this moment
Than to expect nothing in bliss.

On a sunny afternoon
I was in a garden
With roses in bloom
A beautiful garden belonging to a Knight

Pruning the garden he was
And I asked him why,
Why cut them
And not let them grow high?

I then heard a sigh
But not from the Knight
Who was looking at me
With a smile in his eyes

He too heard the sigh
But continued to snip
It is then that I heard
A sweet tiny blip

“Please step aside
You are blocking my light”
But how can this be?
That this flower, is talking to me?

A ruby red rose
Who is talking in prose
Glazing in the sun
Until the day is done

From that day
She’s been blazed in my heart
And she’ll forever stay
In the garden of my hearth

I met many roses
On so many journeys
Many shades
And many grades

While I rested one night
Reflecting on life
I picked up my quill
And began to write

Miraculous rose
Miraculous beauty
The symbol of saints
Whom have finished their duty

Fragile rose
Fragile beauty
Strength and growth
Comes after pruning

Envious rose
Envious beauty
The crown and robe
Of queens and beauty

Loathing rose
Loathing beauty
Pricks from a thorn
Memories of the scorn

Blessed rose
Blessed beauty
Muses of odes
Poems and melodies

After many years
And many journeys
I have now returned
To the home I’ve been yearning

The Lady of the garden
Planted roses of bright yellow
To be the suns of the garden
On gloomy days and even those that mellow

Still the red roses
Reign high and might
But amongst all the roses
I hear one’s plight

A lowly red rose
Whose hue, the lightest of the rest
Sings on prose
But I know best

With a cut she is free
And begins to sing in glee
I hold her in my hands
And together we flee

Down the road we walk
And the land begins to talk
“Lucky rose”,
“Blessed rose”

Her hue is now brighter
And my soul fills with laughter
This is the talking rose
That I’ve been after

I lay her down to rest
Onto the Knight’s resting place
Crimson and bright
Now she’s close to the Knight

Who loved his red roses
As much as his mother
Who bore the name of roses
And to be known, by no other.

Dedicated to my grandfather.

These two Guru feet lead me.

Grounding to the Earth,

They anchor me.

Oh Guru,

What direction will you turn,

And upon which path will you take?

In my surrender to your knowledge,

I become your servant,

Your legs,

That follow.

In your stillness,

I promise my ears will listen.

In your movement,

I will dance your rhythms,

Your melody of endless bliss.

Oh Teacher,

Guide my Heart,

To my divine essence,

Of my journey and contracts.

Your student is surrendering,

Fusing in Love.

Overwhelmed by the loss of your touch;
Your sweet scent, moist kiss,
And gentle smile
Reminds me of a magical time shared.

Overwhelmed by the loss of your kiss;
I am filled with a sad loneliness,
That cloaks me in a dark blanket
Of a Starless night;
An Isolated Drifter over black waters.

Oh, let me return to your side lover.
I ache with yearning heat,
Muscle spasms in angst of lack,
Of your body so joined with mine.

Hearts dream of beating in,
Musical symphony of sacred union.
Ecstasy in breathing rhythms inhaling,
Deeper triggering points of divine orgasm.
Sleep allows joined exhalations of blissful rest,
in arms loving hold.

Angels of time I affirm to you now,
Ride your master quickly.
He who bears the clock,
Answer me now.
I ask for aid with my love’s separation.

Allow the truth of this gathering,
Beauty from my twin flame’s gifts,
And Male and Female strengthening;
To ease our minds,
And our worries,
about reunion and futures flow.

Oh Lover,
Listen to the light as it will be easy.
Trust my love in this simple truth.
Options amount for our dreams,
Colors will sparkle with light,
And stars will again dance
To light the way in the night.

Visualize my lover, our reunion in perfection.
And together we strengthen,
The power of our desired reality.
Dream what you wish to be in spirit,
As your beauty can be that colorful.

Oh Lover,

It will be easy.
As easy as it was to love you,
It will be to return to your side.
To be in our bed and to wake to our sun,
Our wind in this dream world.

Gaze upon me naked from where you lie.
Elevate my soul with your loving kiss.
Melt my heart with loves steaming touch to my bosom.
And I will let it be so.

Know the power of our will,
Will move mountains and swell rivers.
Your single longing gaze,
Arms entangled in passion,
Lips in sweet interchange,
Melts my heart in longing,
To heights angels dream of,
And Eagles wish to soar.

Again I wait for u.
With speed come.

The Broken Angel

I once saw an angel

with broken wings

but alas I did not succeed

to mend these things

Beautifully strong

yet weak to words

sad starry eyes with

a broken hearted demise

What have they done to you?

and what can I do?

confused by my questions,

while healing its wounds

It disappeared and left me again,

to never be seen

feathers to keep for me

and nothing else but memories

From a broken angel
whose light I miss and hope it soon heals.
